A STYLISH SUMMER WEDDING AT PYLEWELL PARK, HAMPSHIRE

Pylewell Park is one of those venues that never disappoints. Between the views across the Solent, the historic house, and the gardens that seem to stretch forever, it’s the perfect setting for a summer wedding.

This one felt particularly special. The couple brought together a stylish, fun-loving crowd who made the most of the sunshine from the very start. Guests gathered on the lawns in easy summer outfits, sunglasses on, and glasses of fizz in hand. It had the feeling of a relaxed yet sophisticated garden party with an extra layer of celebration.

My photography is a mix of documentary and editorial, and days like this really suit that balance. Most of the time I’m watching for those fleeting moments, a laugh between friends, someone balancing a drink and a camera at the same time, you get the drift. But we also took time for portraits that made the most of Pylewell’s grounds and light, without it ever feeling staged or stiff.

One of the highlights was the outdoor cake cutting. No formal setup, just the couple surrounded by family and friends, just before they took their seats for dinner. It was simple, natural, and full of genuine smiles, the kind of moment that sums up the whole day.

As the evening carried on, the atmosphere shifted naturally into dancing and music, with the kind of energy you only get at a summer wedding. It was easy, fun, and full of personality from start to finish.

Pylewell Park weddings always have their own rhythm, but this one stood out for its style, warmth, and the people who made it such a joy to photograph.
