Every spring, the Hampshire bluebells show up quietly and transform the landscape for a short window of time. It’s one of the most beautiful backdrops of the year. That’s why bluebell mini sessions have become a favourite for so many families.
If you’ve been considering updated family photos, this is a great opportunity.
A Short Season - A Special Setting
Bluebells bloom for a limited time, typically just a few weeks. The soft purple (or blue? Quite the debate!) tones create a clean, cohesive background that photographs beautifully without feeling busy or distracting results. Images that feel fresh, natural, and connected to the season.
What Is a Mini Session?
Mini sessions are designed to be efficient and focused:
Shorter session length (perfect for young children)
Pre-selected, stunning location
Simple booking process
A curated gallery of beautifully edited images
They’re ideal for families who want updated portraits without committing to a full-length session.
Perfect for Growing Families
If it’s been a couple of years since your last family photos or if your kids seem to change overnight, this is a great time to document this stage.
Bluebell sessions work well for:
Annual family portraits
Milestone updates
Sibling photos
A few updated images for your walls or albums
What to Wear
Soft neutrals, light denim, creams, pale blues, and gentle pastels photograph beautifully against the purple-blue tones of the flowers. Avoid bold patterns or neon colors. Simple outfits allow the setting (and your family) to stand out.
Once you’re booked, I’ll send over a styling guide to make planning easy.
A Relaxed, Guided Experience
You don’t need to worry about posing. I’ll guide you through natural prompts so your images feel comfortable and genuine. The goal is relaxed, connected photos, not stiff smiles.
Mini sessions move quickly, which keeps kids engaged and makes the experience enjoyable for everyone.
PRICING
£50 for a 20 minute session + one digital image to download, chosen from a gallery of approx 15
Once you’ve viewed your gallery you’ll have 7 days to choose which images to download. You can either choose your one included image or choose to purchase extra. The upgrade options are:
£100 for an additional 4 images (making 5 in total).
£125 to download the full gallery.
Images can’t be purchased individually.

T&C’s
If I am unable to attend the sessions (for example, due to illness), I will try to source another photographer to take my place. I will then continue to edit your gallery. If this is not the case, I will refund your fee.
If you are unable to make your session, your fee will not be refunded. You can, however, transfer your slot to a family member or friend.
In case of very bad weather, you must also be available on Sunday 26th April and Sunday 3rd May as contingency dates.
The sessions are for one family at a time. If you wish for cousins to be photographed together, there is a limit of 4 cousins and an extra £50 to pay.
If you’re late, your session may be cancelled so that subsequent sessions are not disrupted.
The sessions will take place in Hampshire. I’m still deciding on the exact location but you will sent a ‘what3worss’ so you can easily navigate to me. I will provide detailed instructions re parking and accessibility.
